    PU is indeed considered the best for Chemical Engineering and then comes UET. For ECAT you should join an academy when you get some free time, while reading through the FSC books.

    AS level exams re-take + A level

    Since you will be giving full A Level for all three subjects you won't be considered as a retake as it''s never mentioned anywhere on the certificate. But you yourself will know that you are retaking :D Give all three in May / June 2012 since there is not much time left for Oct / Nov 2011 session.

    RETAKE ..a good idea or a bad one ?

    I suggest you give just A2 for Bio and whole A Level for Chem and Physics in May / June. It's harder to get a good grade in A2 so you can maintain your Bio but for Chem and Physics it's best you aim for high marks in AS papers then it will be easier for you to score a high grade overall.

    difference between CIE and Edexel

    Obviously CIE certificate is more worthy but getting anything below a C will be frowned upon in either cases. Get good grades in either and you will have a shot at a good university.

    You will get a provisional statement of entry through your email within a month and a few weeks before the exams you will get the real statement of entry through mail.

    I have just confirmed from IBCC that you CAN'T get an equivalence based on the Provisional Result / Statement of Result and that the original certificate is required.

    Re: is it possible to give AS chemistry just in two months ! Plus he/she hasn't done any practicals. You'd be lucky to barely pass by the way things are looking right now. I suggest you start preparing for May/June session. P.S Short hand is fine when you are texting or chatting on instant...
