    I thought there would be no temp increase,because they said something about no thermal energy being lost or gained,and temperature is related to KE,so if there is no increse in KE,there should be no increase in temp.

    If the speed should be constant,resultant force should be 0,and the forces acting on the object are gravitational force and frictional force.So you can't ignore graviational force Good luck :D
