genius! thanks man! :)

and the file i gave u can u solve the graph one? only the (b) part its 1 mark i guess..
what i did was look where there is a difference of 0.5. if u go on left side of the pt. of intersection u will see the values of sin are smaller than that of cos and this will give us value of (sin-cos) in negative but we need positive so go on right side of intersection. now see on y-axis between 1 and 0.5 there 10 boxes. so u need to find 10 boxes in between sin and cos. thats how did it now and before. :D

lenght is given yea 100 meters :O

converting it back to 10,000

how did u end up in 1000? im eager to knw.
first of all, it says the diagram is drawn to scale.
then, 100 metres is the original length, the actual length of AB.
but it never said 1 on the diagram represents 100 metres :D
the length of AB in the diagram represents 100 metres in actual. :D
so u have to measure AB with a scale and u will get 10 cm.
this means 10 cm on this diagram represents 100 metres in actual :)
now 100 metres = 10000 cm

10:10000
so it should be in the form "1:n"
so therefore, simplify 10:10000 and u get this:
1:1000
did u understand or not? :D
