benefits:-
provision on infrastructure e.g. electricity, water supply so attracts foreign/local investors
increase employment opportunities
more industries
good working conditions for workers
more production so more export-increase in positive balance of trade and foreign exchange
I wrote few more, but can't remember!
problems:-
Expensive to build so pressure on govt.
Loss of area for other purposes e.g. farming
requires a lot of electricity.....so shortage of power for domestic uses
These are a few points, I cannot remember what I wrote more!
and what about the importance of road for the industrial ESTATE?

What do we have write in this Question

Q2) To what extent it is possible for farmer to use the new modern method?
First write improvement e.g. use of HYVs which are drought and pest resistant can improve yields AND then the limitation e.g. they are expensive so cannot be afforded by subsistence farmers. This way write about mechanization, better farming techniques etc and u could score full marks.
Though I didn't attempt the question bcz of that first rice labelling part.

I was confused about it so didn't attempt it.

I had just written about canal leading off from dam reservoir or barrage and control by gate, the field flooded with adequate amount of water, so is that fine for 4 marks?, and JazakAllah for the link.
