last ques fr theory one why leaf limp where as stem nt and change in leaf fr xylem
stem contains xylem walls contain lignin
xylem are in vascular bundals in stem running like steel reinforcements in concrete pillars
water evaporated from the leaf more than it recieved so it lead to wilting.

It was increase and decrease o.o because if you increase the temperature too much, the rate of photosynthesis drops.
see the limiting factor is already decreasing the rate of photosynthesis , if you change it ( lower it further ) it will FURTHER decrease the rate and if you change it ( higher ) then it will increase the rate. the mcq options did not include the word FIRTHER so it was already decreasing the rate and when changed it will only increase.

The stem is surrounded by lignin that prevents the stem from limping/collapsing. The leaf however is cut off from water supply from the roots, and is unable to photosynthesise, make food and eventually dies

Young leaves must develop:
1. Lignin to support the vessel
2. Leakage of protoplasm to form a hollow lumen
3. wide lumen with cylindrical shape of the vessel
