    I already mentioned, in my case I used a variable frequency generator/controller.

    I used the rheostat to alter the resistance of the circuit and ammeter to ensure that the input current is constant throughout the experiment. I guess it clears you now.

    No, signal generator is not necessary. The experiment was based on electricity so signal generator can't be the part of the circuit in this case.

    I kept the no. of turns in the coil and the current from the power supply constant and used a variable frequency generator to vary the frequency.

    I guess the independent was frequency and the dependent was current. The question clearly mentions it.

    Never-mind I'm currently out of my mind due to Chem. P-5 !!! Furthermore I drew the a-t graph with the particle accelerating from 0 to 3. something in 0 s .... so the line was on the dark vertical axis ..... so if you are right then I can still hope that the examiner won't see it :D !!

    So u mean that the body started from rest at t=0 with 3. something acceleration ? Is it even possible ........ isn't the acceleration supposed to be zero when velocity is zero o_O ?
