    'Soft Subjects'

    I wanna know if it is important to have at least twp subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Bio and Maths because these are apparently 'strong' subjects and others like Applied IT, Business St., Law etc. are 'soft' subjects. Can't we just take whichever three we wish to study? :-/
