    An easy AS subject?

Er, the whole point is that 2 of the unis I want to apply to say I need 4 AS levels.

    An easy AS subject?

Maths is my worst subject though. :/ I don't think I'll even manage a B in it. And anyway, the unis I want to go to don't require maths, so yeah. I just want an easy AS subject. D: Also, most of the universities I wanna go to don't accept GP.

    An easy AS subject?

I'm an A2 student and I'm currently doing 3 subjects: chemistry, biology and economics. I've decided to take a 4th subject at AS. What would be the easiest subject in which I can manage an A? Any help appreciated. (:

    What's your secret?

Er, lol. Well, I got 2 As in AS chemistry and biology, and I definitely would NOT recommend using my method to get good grades. I didn't study or pay attention in class all year - though I think this is more to do with me not being able to understand my teachers and vice versa. And when it came...

    Books for economics?

I already have the black CIE book and 'Essentials of Economics' by John Sloman. Are there any other good books anyone would recommend? I have my AS exam in October and I've only just started to study - I have no previous knowledge whatsoever on this subject! Why do I always do this to myself...

Lol, they usually are easy, but they're just worded weirdly and get people confused. Just read the question super carefully! And you're welcome. (:

    bio mcq's ..may / june 2006 help

It's D? Magnification = size of image / actual size of image. First of all you gotta get them both in the same units. 36mm = 36000 um. Magnification = 36000 / 1.2 = 30000.

    bio mcq's ..may / june 2006 help

The answer's B. 20% of the bases are cytosine, so there will be the same amount of guanine bases (also 20%). Altogether then we've accounted for 40% of the bases - there's 60% left which must be adenine and thymine. You just divide by 2 because they're both present in the same amounts (due to...

    ECONOMICS

I don't know what you mean by are we given a choice between biology and economics. I'm taking both the subjects, but at my school the lessons clash, so I take classes whenever I have free time. But if you have to choose between the two, then the best thing to do would be to take the subject that...

    Biology MCQ thread..!!

I think this has already been explained somewhere, but I'll answer it. If you look at row 3, there's uracil in it - which means that column C must be thymine (as there's none of it). Now that you know which one's thymine you just gotta look for another column that has a similar percentage to...

    Biology MCQ thread..!!

Actually, I gotta go, so I'll explain it even if I'm wrong. The way I worked it out is that the initial rate of reaction usually refers to the amount of product formed in the first 30 seconds. So, in the first 30 seconds 3 cm^3 is formed. However, the answers have units of s^-1, meaning you have...

Is it B? I'll explain it if I'm correct.

    Biology MCQ thread..!!

I'm not sure about this, but I think B is wrong because even though phospholipids have less hydrogens than triglycerides, they're still fully saturated! They contain the greatest amount of hydrogen that they can. I might be wrong though, I've still to revise this chapter.

    HELP NEEDED!

Well, if you're wanting to go into medical then the best subjects to take would be the sciences (biology, chemistry and physics). I'd say it's comparitively easy to get an A in biology, chemistry's kinda difficult and I don't take physics so I can't say anything about that. However, if you are...

    AS Economics - OPINIONS!

I think I'll die if I gave A2 maths aswell. I'd have like one year to do the whole thing (I'm taking my A2 exams in June next year). It's also my worst subject! I'm only taking AS to make up for the B I got in my GCSEs - it was my only B, the rest were As and A*s. But thank you for the advice. (:
