activation energy is the minimum amount of energy requried by to molecules so they can collide with enough energy in order to start a reaction

boltzman distirbution graph shows the following.
Lower temperature and high temperature comparsion
A low temp. Graph would be high and narrow
A high Temp. Graph would be low and wide
and shows that at higher temperautres, a larger fractions on molecules posses enough energy to over come the activation enery barrier.
