can you please post you practical.. so that i can have a little idea about it
it was Ktype; We had a lightsource (any) we had to make a image on a screen through converging lens ,the image should be clear not blur(sharp image) now fix them in place now measure focal length , diameter of lens and height of image
then measure uncertainty of your ruler or vernier caliper
then you know how it goes
Tip:
Make an outline so if it moves you can still measure the height or anything question asks :)

for exp1: plastic box, wooden/plastic stick, masses
for exp 2: meter rule, 2 convex lenses, board with a paper attached ( paper will have squares of 0.5 cm2 )

Can you suggest some of the improvements and limitations you put?

If you are asking about the question about how to improve this might be the answers i am not aware of the limitations
2 reading are not enough
take more sets of reading and plot a graph
parallax error
align the ruler with plumbline and use setsquare to take exact reading

I took time for 10 oscillations then did it again. Added both the readings and divided it by 20.
