UMS marking system.

Can someone explain the whole UMS marking system. I still don't get it. :/

Well the amount of UMS you need every year to get an A or B or C for example an A is constant 80/100 for math and physics chem bio..etc 96/120 now the marks on your paper are called RAw marks out of 75 or 80 now the amount needed to get an 80/100 ums or 96/120 in raw marks varies each year for example physics unit 2 january 2010 was 45/80 would convert into 96/120 the following year 52/80 would convert to 96/120 and so on
