I know the total should be around 200 but i was checking this past Grade threshold around of May/June 2012 and it says the total marks are 260. I know you guys might say they are mistaken but please its CIE they can't be mistaken.. out of the 10 years of all subject past papers i have done, i haven't even found a single error.. i mean not even a spelling mistake for starters..
here see the GT yourself

it is probably a mistake because the core mark is 1"60" so it can greatly be a mistake and use your mind, how would a 174 from 260 gives u an A* for such an easy year

they multiply each paper in maths by 1.3,
as (70*1.3)+(130*1.3)=260
so for example if u got 60 in paper 2 and 120 in paper 4 u will get
(60*1.3)+(120*1.3)=234
Hope this helps you :)

This is complete nonsense.

CIE did make a mistake and they released a corrected version. Xtremepapers still has the old version.
