No like really. I do that all the time, it helps coz you're busy laughing so much that you forget why you were tensed in the first place.

To reduce the stress I will give you some tips:
Do Exercise and Yoga regularly
Play any kind of games
listen music
Eat healthy foods
Spend your time with family
Take some break from routine life

Stay Away from the following four things in order for your life to be in order inshaallah :

The Following Four Deeds bring misery to a person’s heart, so avoid them :



1. Complaining and being angry with what Allah has decreed.

2. Committing sins without repenting afterwards.

“Say to [to them], ‘It is from yourselves [because of your evil deeds]” [Surah Al 'Imraan : 165]

“It is because of what your hands have earned” {Surah 42 : 30]

3. Hating people for the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon them.

“Or do they envy men for what Allah has given them of His Bounty?” [Surah 4 : 54]

4. Turning away from the remembrance of Allah.

“..Verily, for him is a life of hardship..” [Surah 20 : 124]

Let Us remember dear Muslims, that in order for us to be happy and for us to move on with life and be content with the Divine Decree of Allah, we must first Cleanse our Hearts of negatives and evil that come to us from the Shaytaan. It is these whisperings into our Hearts that cause us grief in the first place, and take away from our earning of good deeds and happiness.

Let Us remember Allah Much and Turn to Him Alone in repentance if we find that anyone of the preceding four qualities are within our own selves. Let us Sincerely ask Allah Alone to cure us of whatever evil whisperings our hearts may be inclined to follow and for us to become patient and content with His Decree.

In doing so, as Muslims we would realize that overcoming hardships and trials that we face, and dealing with loss, would become much easier and thereby bringing more benefit and peace.
