I have seen the mark scheme but i a unable to get the meaning of the terms in the definition.

Question Of : May/June 2010 Paper 22

Question Number: 4 (a)

Question is :-
4 a . State two features of a stationary wave that distinguish it from progressive wave.

There In The Answer ( markscheme) : I am unable to understand this sentence,
"amplitude varies along its length/nodes and antinodes
neighbouring points (in inter-nodal loop) vibrate in phase, etc."

Can anyone please describe what it means ?
Please if you can share some resources which will be help for understanding this more properly.
