Guys, I need someone to help me. About Paper 31, there was a question that involved changing amplitude and wavelength. What was the question exactly and what was its answer? Please reply soon.

A, because the wax melted and fell the most here.

I'm quite confused with question 33 from summer 2012 variant 2 ( http://papers.xtremepapers.com/CIE/Cambridge IGCSE/Physics (0625)/0625_s12_qp_12.pdf )
Can anyone explain how it's 8.0 V and not 12V?

V=IR, 12= I*(10+20) , I=(12/30).
V across the 10 ohm , V= (12/30) * 10 = 4V
the total voltage is 12, so 12-4=8 which is the voltage across the 2o ohm resistor.
This is a potential divider so it divides the voltage.
I hope I helped.

Q8 how is the answer C,the upward and downward forces are equal so the handle shouldnot move
Q10 why gravitational energy ,at point Y gravitational energy will be zero
Q18 in convectiondoes the liquid expand or the molecules in the liquid will expand
Q23 could you tell about the characteristics of the image formed by a plane mirror
Q33 could you explain no idea

q8) C, M= F*D. As the force acting ACW has more distance so 100*moredistance= more moment so the handle moves anticlockwise.

q10) no it wont be 0, the ball there will be still above ground so it will have potential energy.

q18) A, liquid expand. Simple add heat volume increases. D=M/V so density decreases which creates the conventional current.

q23) Inverted, virtual and same size.

q33) B right ? when the T is at R the voltmeter reads 0 when you move it to S it reads 12.
I have a method of solving this question but I'm not 100% sure of it, so I can't post it.
