well u do like this !
first u got to do c part for this !
u use specific heat capacity formula !
c) E=mc(delta theta )
so u will get !
E=500*4.2*(100-20)
E=168000J
now for part d !
since the steam getting into the tank would vaporise into liquid the mass wud increase so a new mass reading will be needed as the energy used wud be same as in part c u use the latent heat of vaporization formula to calculate this as u cant use specific heat as there is no change in temperature !
E=m*l
168000=2250m
168000/2250=m
74.66g
need explanation ill explain it just ask okay hope u get it !
