I don't know what I got. I think I fked that question up. I used the formula v=s/t and substituted to find distance (at least that's what I think I did)
I can't remember my answer but I think I got it wrong. I think I got 240s or something like that

The heater was supplied for 2 mins till the substance started melting.
Then 11 mins after the heater was turned on, it was all melted and started to increase in temperature again.
So time heater was supplying latent heat is 11-2 = 8 mins

last time i checked 11-2=9 not 8 but maybe u know a form of subtraction i am not familiar with.

guys u got the latent heat question wrong
the 2 min was to trick you, it took 11 minute to melt all the ice,
they said: and after it started to melt it took 11 minutes to melt all the ice.
they gave us fault info to get fault answers thats what i think correct me if i read wrong

You should multiply by 9 . 11-2=9 as it was LATENT HEAT. the time to melt when its at the MELTING point

Yep it's only 9 mins of energy to melt the ice.
But I think I actually wrote it as 8 cuz I was in such a hurry >.>
I think I might just lose 1 mark since I showed him all the working and the '11-2'

you dont get the point.
the 2 minutes was a trick, the 11 wasnt the time of heating from the start, it was the time for the solid to become all liquid after it started melting, as i said the 2 minutes was a trick
