Q 33: Answer= C

this is because first u find the current in the whole circuit....R=V/I and therefore.... I=V/R

total resistance in whole circuit= R1+R2 (they are in series)=10+20=30

12/30= 0.4

now u put that same current with teh resistor at Y: R=V/I

V=RI= 20*0.4

8 V!

Q 34: Answer is D!

this is because the total current= 10A

a fuse should be a bit more to be on the safe side and therefore....it is 13A (D)

hope this helps! :)

Q8 how is the answer C,the upward and downward forces are equal so the handle shouldnot move
Q10 why gravitational energy ,at point Y gravitational energy will be zero
Q18 in convectiondoes the liquid expand or the molecules in the liquid will expand
Q23 could you tell about the characteristics of the image formed by a plane mirror
Q33 could you explain no idea

Q7 why is the answer C option B also has two forces acting in the same direction
Q11 no idea
Q31 why and how is the answer C
Q38 donot know at all

Q 7 because b will cause the beam to be removed while c will push it downwards hence downward force= upward force
Q 11 that is a manometer it is a device that compares the atmospheric pressure to that of another gas since the water was pushed towards the side with atmpospheric pressure then the gas has higher pressure so to calculate the pressure of the gas we add the difference between the doted line and the water that is the addtion of both 10 s which adds up to 20 plus the original atmospheric pressure hence D
Q 31 the higher the resistance the more the voltage so more resistance with lamp 2 hence brighter while less with lamp 1 hence dimmer
Q 38 radioactive decay is a spontaneous reaction so it will not be affected by the increase or decrease in temperature hence B
