Need some guidance regarding Edexcel A levels

I have just done CIE GCE O'level and waiting for it's results. I live in a place where CIE schools are not served. While Edexcel is cheap and available. In O'levels I heard from my friends and classmates that pastpapers in Edexcel are found less than CIE. Can you please tell me why this happens? And is this the case in A'levels as well? Moreover, I'm going to take Commerce subjects. My subjects are Accounting, Economics, and Maths. But I don't know where it's books list are located on this website. I need to buy books that best suits this level. Please tell me where I can find it.
