Need help in Physics Q19

I cannot understand question number 19 , and i cant find the marking scheme
can any one of u help me solve the question and if possible send me the marking scheme. :)

Its an easy question read the book about hookes law the formulas its related to that and energy conservation

a) The ruler or table is smooth surface, therefore it has no friction .

b) They have the same velocity although only one has horizontal velocity.

c1 mgh=1/2mv^2
v=root (2gh)
= root(2*9.81*0.85) = 4.08m/s (3sf) or 4.1m/s(2sf)

D) Horizontal components
Time = 0.42s
Distance =1.1m

Velocity = displacement / time = 1.1/0.42 = 2.62(3sf) or 2.6(2sf)

Vertical velocity = 4.1m/s

Magnitude velocity = root(4.1^2 + 2.6^2) =4.85m/s(3sf) or 4.9m/s(2sf)

Angle of velocity to horizontal : tan@ = 4.1/2.6 >< @ = tan(inverse)[1.5769] = 57.6*
