This is a series of booklets I have been writing for 2 months and has been specifically designed for the 4024 syllabus and is also suitable for the 0580 syllabus. This series of booklets outlines and explains some of the most important misconceptions in the subject of mathematics. This will help you to avoid common mistakes in the paper. Any suggestions, comments etc are highly welcomed. Also I would like to apologize for the late publishing of this series since I was busy preparing for my papers. Hope you like and enjoy it. The booklet is available for download in pdf format.

Update: If there are any printing mistakes or if you would like to point out a simple method, it would be highly appreciated. Thank you :)

Questions in paper 1 like the one in point 4 can be solved in a simpler way by cancelling. In point 4 the LCM is 2*2*3*14*27
Rather than spending time multiplying it and then dividing, you can do this
2*2*3*14*27/ 168=168*27/168
168 cancels out leaving 27 which is the answer
