it is of paper 11 may/june 2010 and question no.22.
i know b will be the right answer because all other compounds do give the same compounds for different isomers.
the problem is that how isomer no.1 i.e. (ch3)3cch2oh is being dehydarated because there is no beta hydrogen present in beta carbon. i suppose there will be some other reaction but what is that reaction?

please help me out its chemistry 9701
