I'm doing 0580 variant 2. I gave p2, it was REALLY easy. But this could also mean that p4 can be tough. Always expect the unexpected :/

1. Comprehension: Only copy words from passage, short as possible.
2. 2nd comprehension: You can use phrases in the last question but sentences make more sense.
3. Note making: Continue the method you use; passage and words.
4. Summary: No need intro, immediately dive into the main points which the question asked you to write the summary on.
5. Letter: You can write ANYTHING related to the topic. The prompts are SUPPOSED to be used. Remember, letter has 5 paragraphs, 1st is intro, next 3 are the 3 prompts, last is conclusion, don't forget to sign off. Pics are jus to give you an idea. You can use your own idea.

My Name I wrote my English Paper 2 exam today. For the letter you can't sign off by Yours Faithfully, it's an informal letter so it's preferred to use "Your friend" or "Your Best Friend". And for essay, it's optional to write your name at the bottom.

Hi, I don't know how this works because I'm new here but I've been stuck on a mathematical question for like the past hour and it's driving me insane.

My Math IGCSE is in three days.
Anywho, this question is from October/November 2013, Paper 43 Question 1b.

The question is:

In a car magazine, 25% of the pages are used for selling second-hand cars, 62.5% of the remaining pages are used for features and the other 36 pages are used for reviews.

Work out the total number of pages in a magazine.

NEED HELP ASAP.

lets say the total number represents x
so firstly its 25% out of the total so 25/100x so basically 1/4*x and then they said 62.5 of the remaining pages notice they have said remaining
so the remaining is 3/4*x and then another 36 pages give us the total
so its 1/4x + 3/4x + 36 = x
solve the equation you will get an answer of 128

where do i draw the tangent?

draw a tangent somewhere in the graph where the y intercept is 2
like try to adjust your line so that it only touches the graph y=f(x)
and it cuts through 2 at the y-axis
so obviously you will draw your line at the left side of the prabola
the point you have touched the prabola is point P
