In this case, we are finding the smallest no. of glasses that can be filled
Thus we take the lower bound of the bottle, and upper bound of the glasses
Lower bound of bottle = 24.5 l
Upper bound of glasses = 0.35 l

24.5/0.35
=70

The first one says 'correct to nearest litre'
1 liter/ nearest liter
so w halve it
1/2
=0.5

Upper bound = given value + 0.5
Lower bound = given value - 0.5

Substitute the values of x and y
7P + Q = 0
Q =-7 P

9 P + Q = -6
9 P - 7 P = -6
P = -3

7(-3) +Q = 0
Q = 21
