this 1 was so easy.damnDraw a right angled triangle, and label the opposite and adjacent sides as k and 1 respectively, such that the ratio of tan x is k/1=k
The length of the hypotenus is then given by sqrt (k^2 +1)
sin x is defined as opposite/hypotenus = k/ sqrt( k^2 +1) (shown)
