Math Gradethreshold expectaions

Well, As paper 2 was quite easy to most of us, I believe the curve won't fall below 58/70 for an A, and if paper 4 was quite easy tomorrow, and people did well, it will be something like a 100/130, this is going to be really sad, Because it will be like november 2011, the curve for an A* was a ridiculous 188/200.

If the curve hits that high, Sadly our chances of an A* are dying, If I got 68/70 in paper 2, still need a 120/130 in paper 4.

Let's hope the curve doesn't hit that high.

Im satisfied by getting an A but if its an A* i would be jumping around the house--Finger crossed i wish i get got marks..!! and that shouldnt happen

You guys are mistaken, every year people were coming out of the exams saying that it was easy and that the curve will be 60/70 and like 110/130 But it ends up that the curve is lower... anyways gl !

Umm guys I checked the GT for May/June 2012 and it says that syllabus is out of 260 and the A* last year was a 176.. is it out of 260 or 200 ??

I dont think so bcuz the GT is for the 0580 syllabus. And I checked the GT for the 0581 syllabus, it says the max grade is 200.

it's a typo, the total is out of 200 for no coursework maths.

i think they'd decrease A's grade thresholds further down as paper 4 was tougher ,and i believe that paper 2 was the longest paper in history!
last 2 years average was 145/200 for an A, i guess this year it'd be down to 140 or 142..
