Hey guys
I wanted to ask about the difference between main themes and distinctive features of a surah, as our teacher hasn't explained it quite well.
If you could please elaborate and clarify the differences, I would appreciate it.
Also if you have notes on the surahs, which have both main themes and distinctive features, please post them so I can download them.

main theme covers the topics and issues raised in the specific Surah. you have to put some light on them and elaborate. for example Surah Ikhlas focuses on the unity and oneness of Allah. that he is unique and no partners to be associated with him. these are the main points in it right , and distinctive theme in which you need to write a little differently focusing on the message and spiritual part of the surah. defining the Allah's message in a more clear and different way. like in this surah Ikhlas Allah focuses that a believer should confess with his soul and body that there is no one worthy of worship besides Allah. there is no one to be associated in his attributes. he is the cherisher and sustainer of everything which exists.
