Hi,
In the oct nov 2014 paper, there was questions in which we had to use the 'LEFT' function in paper 3 excel part. This formula was completely new and was not asked in any of the past papers. Are there any other formula's I have to know other than the LEFT function which is not mentioned in the syllabus.
Thank you in advance for your help

left function makes u get the first specified number of letters of a cell, like for an example u have the word purchase in A1 (better try it now while reading this, type purchase),then use the formula =left, then specify the cell which will be A1 in this case then comma then the number of letters u want like PURCHASE,,,,,,,,=left(A1,2) this will give u PU and if u type =left(A1,3) will give PUR
