So I got my results in my online account, and I had this.
So are these my "RAW" marks or the "UM" marks?
Then I looked at the Unit Grade Boundaries here:
Unit Grade Boundaries January 2012
Now I don;t understand if these were my raw marks or UMS marks, because either way they don't make any sense.
As I could have lost a maximum of 20 marks from C1 and C2. So then I'd get 55 out of the 75 mark total for each paper. Which according to the Unit Grade Boundary I'd get at least a B for these 2 units.
However if I refer to this table it seems like this is the percentage mark?
Grade Boundary Marks
That way (55/75)x100 = 73%, which should give me a B as well?
But I still don't understand. These were my first A Level exams and I am clueless as to how they calculate the grade for individual units.
