I recommend any student with an interest in history or current affairs wanting to give an extra subject to consider taking World History. The book you will need is Norman Lowe's Mastering World History, which you will be able to find at any big bookstore. It has detailed coverage and great analysis of every topic you will need to study. There is a plethora of options available to you in the paper: you will only have to do 5 questions out of 31! This means you can pretty much decide the countries you will study, but it is better if you stick to the main ones because there is less information available for obscure countries. If you have any questions regarding this subject, please post them here.
