Guys if one had done O/A Levels when we get the equivalence certificate the marks are deducted? Some people say that 10% of the marks are deducted by IBCC. And to apply for Aeronautical Engineering in NUST what are the minimum grades required in O and A Levels. Please reply asap im really worried. Specially engineering guys who had done o/a levels and are doing engineering.

no they dont deduct marks. What they do is that they add 800 olevel marks into 300 alevel marks to form the HSSC equivalence out of 1100. This counts 40%
for SSC equivalence they only consider olevel marks. This counts 10%

Since your olevel would on total form 80% of equivalence and the alevel only 20%, your olevel become very important

the rest 50% is the test.

This division of 50,40 and 10% is for medical colleges. Im not sure about engineering

But during equivalence making process, Olevel are very very important
