Hi. I m an o level student planning to take three papers ie islamiat , urdu 2 and pak studies in may/june 2014 as a private student. In addition to these three i m planning to appear in five more subjects which r maths physics chemistry bio and english in may/june 2015 , also i dont have any additional subject . Keeping in view my situation can u plz ans following questions:
1.usually students give one year gap between the first three subjects and the remaining subjects If i take first three papers in oct/ nov 2014 would i hav enough time to take the other papers in may june 2015 ?

2. How much important is it to take an additional subject to get admission in good colleges ( e.g kgs Lyceum nixor etc ) provided off course i meet the grades criteria ?

3. Since i hav been out of the country i have been studying first three subjects i.e islamiat . Urdu 2nd lang , and pak studies on my own. I m planning to come to pakistan in january 2014 and take tutions for these three subjects can u please tell me some well reputed specialist tutors/ tution centres in karachi in defence clifton area ?

4. Lastly can i get admission in any good school in last year of o levels on the basis of my result of these three subjects ( i have been a merit scholarship student in beaconhouse defence khi till class 8 )
Looking forward to an early reply. Thanks

As for your first question, I think one year is quite enough to prepare for Physics, chemistry, Bio and English but never for Math's. What's the use of taking these exams all in one year if you can't get As. Grades are what you will carry with yourself your whole life. I did the same mistake of taking math's with all science subjects, I got B although it's okay at my situation. But I really regret now that why didn't I take it later. Math's is what needs a lot of practice. If you will be starting fresh for Math's that will be even worse. But if you have already started and through all of the concepts once already, may be then it'll be okay but even then it needs a lot of practice.
