Guide for an A* in Physics and Math!

Hey guyz,
This is my first post. I am going to sit my IGCSE physics and math exam by CIE
in the summer examintion time. I am in desperate need for an A*. Can anyone guide
me on what to do to ace the two exams?

I am myself appearing 4 physics igcse this nov bt i have already given mathh n got an A* (AlhamdullillAllah). For math do the following:
- do as many past pprs as u can.. cuz math is the only sub where syllabus chanes do nt matter much. u jst need to practice evry kind of question for a strog command on subject
- do NOT stick to a single book. get some nice refernec books like revision guides. it is sometimes possible tht u cme across a simpler mehtod in other books. it really makes it axy to grasp concept.
- once u r doing past pprs, also go through examiner reposrts. this gives u really great tips. 4 me it helped 2 a great extent. I got myself so use to of marking n predicting ppr requiremnts tht i managed to guess a nice mount of ppr b4 exam n also understood how shuld i really answer each question. sometimes u need to show a specific step 2 gain marks wich u come 2 know from er.
- if u can't find solution to a problem dont just ignore it. instead gather all such challahnging questions n get them solves. try to undertsand why those questions vr challanging? wht actually was diffrnt in them. u never know whn u come across such questio.
- keep in mnd tht there is alwasy a question in ppr which differientiates b/w a and a* student. At first i also got trapped in such questions but with practice they become accessible 2 me. try figuring out such challanging questiosn n c how u can solve thm.
- there r some things in ppr wich cannot b learnt soley frm book. sch questiosn require ur problem solving n logic skills along with past pprs practice. so be open to such questions.
- remain steadfast and consistent throughout ur preparation. i personally came from C to A* jst cuz of consiistensy n doin tons of past pprs figuring out my week points n fixing thsm.
- try learning some calculator tricks 4 rechecking r answers n solving some long uestions directly like quadratics. as calculator is allowed in both pprs, this vl really help u.
- maintain ur speed. at the end i managed 2 solve p2 in min 40-45 min n p4 in 90-100 min. take rest of the time 4 rechecking again n again. u nvr know frm ehre u gain a mark as every mark is precious 4 a*.
- lastly b confidnt on exam day. make sure u have everything u need n peferably extra things like more than 2 pens, pencil etc. do nt panic if u find somthing difficult. try solving other questions n come bak to it at the end n thn try yr best. niether b over-confidnt as thn u vl probabaly mess alot making careless mistakes. do chk ur ppr atleast twice once completed. so ur time managemnt must b great.
