Guidance Needed

What are the basic subjects needed for appearing in SAT examination?
I have heard that the two basic subjects needed are Mathematics and English,but after searching on the internet as I am applying for chemical Engineering the two basic subjects required are Mathematics and either physics or chemistry.
Please help me in this confusion.
And what are the other things required for SAT examinations.

First of all, you have to clarify with your required college what SATs are need
there are two sats
SAT I and SAT subject test
subject test is the one having science subjects
SAT I is english and math one

there is also the sat subject test of math, which means that your college is probably requiring subject test aka SAT 2

I just got all the problem cleared out....I will be giving SAT-II test (which is math and either physics or chemistry) for this is the test required for admission in NUST.
