The reaction between sulphur trioxide and hydrochloric acid is conducted at 25 degrees celsius.
The temperature of the reaction is measured as soon as the reaction stops. The delta energy is -130kJ/mol. What will be the approximate temperature of the reaction mixture?
A)4 degrees
B)15 degrees
C)25 degrees
D)35 degrees

**Please state whether or not the temperature recorded is from the products of the reaction or from the reaction vessel.**

Well In exothermic reactions heat energy is released, we know that it is an exothermic reaction since enthalpy change is negative (-) hence , the surrounding temperature must go up while the reaction mixture cools as heat energy is released to the surrounding, I don't know if the answer is correct but this is the assumption I made for choosing B :D
