Is it necessary to be in the given word limit for creative writing and directed writing ?

If you write much less than the specified word limit, you are liable to be penalized. However, if you write above the word limit, it is less likely for you to be penalized by the examiners even though you will penalize yourself since you will have less time for the rest of the paper.

@intelnehalem if we r used to of writing too much without errors and keeping it interesting too andstill managing to complete in time, will we be penalised for it??? i mean for writing 100 or 150 words more than stated in Directed writing???
