well AB=OB - OA either AB = AO+OB The answer should probably be (3,5) plzz check it

A question which I faced today in June 2012 examination
it says:
The population of india increased by 20% from 1989 to 1999
The population of india further increased by 17% from 1999 to 2009
Find the increase in india population from 1989 to 2009

although i know that u guyz have already answered ur maths b paper 1 exam ,
would u mind answering this??

A solid heavy sphere of radius 5 cm is completely covered by water and rests on the bottom of a cylindrical tank of radius 6 cm. Calculate the distance in cm, to 3 sig.fig by which the depth of the water in the tank falls when the sphere is removed. :)

volume of sphere=4/3pie(5)^3=523.5987
523.5987=pie(6)^2h
h=4.63

problem in mathematics in paper 3H jan 2012 number 4:

The lengths of the sides of a rhombus are 6 cm.
The length of the longer diagonal of the rhombus is 10 cm.
AB is a side of the rhombus.
Construct an accurate, full-size drawing of the rhombus.
You must show all construction lines.

and then drew a line of 6cm please tell me how can i solve it
