I dont understand q2 answer is c ,q6 answer is c , q 7 ans is c q9 ans is D andq11 ans is A ,q13 ans A, q14 ans B q15 answer B q16 ans Bnand q20 pls explain atleast some of them

Q7 ans is C as Cl^2 is a molecule so charge is 0 ,Na has +1 charge as in group 1 so Cl will have -1 so that overall it should be neutral,O is -2 there are three oxygen so -6 , one Na is +1,overall compound should be neutral so Cl is +5

Q11 ans is A because I think the curve as the temp is higher there will be more effective collisions so activation energy for 500 K will be less so peak will be smaller than the 300 K dotted one the peak is only small in A . This is what I think the logic behind this question is

Q13 ans is A , let's do this question by eliminating all the options
Can't be (b) and (d) as both are metal in groups 1and 2 and they will form ionic bonding can't be (c) that is neon bcz it is a noble gas and will not be involved in any bonding

Q15 it's a tough one but first of all we have to make an equation take any of the group 2 metal and form an equation of a metal nitrate being heated .equation is for eg I am taking magnesium
Mg(NO3)2 heat other side MgO +2NO2+O2

Now u have to do this using moles the molecular mass of metal nitrate in this case is 148.3 and MgO is 40.3
Mass of magnesium nitrate is 5 u will get the mass of MgO u have to try with all of the metals until u don't get thee ans as 1.71 bcz the question says 3.29 g mass is lost ,5-3.29=1.71 g so this means so this means 1.71 g of metal oxide is left remaining is gone in the form of gases
When we try the same with calcium we get 1.71 so (b) is the ans
Hope u understood
