Hey guys pls tell me how to tell if a gas is released during ion analysis... Some you can obviously smell and some you can see... But ones like oxygen carbon dioxide and hydrogen.

Any other tips for the prac would be appreciated :)
Even if its not regarding ion analysis

Thanks

It is well written in the qualitative analysis notes albeit it is a bit difficult in reckoning NO, just make the tube slanting and you can spot brown gas. Rest of them, do as instructed in qualitative analysis notes. :)

Don't be nervous before you start practicals. RELAX. Might sound simple, but trust me it's the best piece of advice you can get.
