the question about the solubility lead,silver,zinc the answers pls?
and the answers of calculations problems
also why hydrochloric acid not used for acidifying ?
urgently needed pls :)

1. silver more soluble in zinc than lead
m.p. of zinc and silver is 530
boiling point of zinc is below silver

2. 1.2 tonnes if i'm not mistaken

3. Hydrochloric acid is not used because it'd react with silver nitrate to give a white ppt

in no.3 i wrote hydrochloric acid will reat with the solution to form precipitate........so will i get marks for this

i think yes, i wrote it reacts with silver nitrate and also wrote a stupid part it is concentrated lol i dunno how i wrote it i think we will get marks for the first part

They don't penalise, they build up marks, so they will ignore any wrong parts unless it's WRONG CHEMISTRY!
