My As level Chemistry 9701 p2 was like 45/60...while the prac was like 28/40.......for maths 9709..its like 66-67/75 for p1..nd 39-40/50 for s1............thinking skills p1 21/30...while fr the critical reasoning ppr...i dun kno the total marks..it changes evertym.....nd lastly..physics..mann..it was too tough this time...im expecting arnd 26/40 in p1...nd 26/40 in practical...(3rd june one).........i guess that ive done bad in those pprs which were relatively difficult and most ov us screwed them..so are there ne chances of getting a grades????

U have good chance of getting A in physics because the main paper, i.e paper 2 is left where u can cover all the marks u lost in practical and P1 .. !! If u get those marks in Maths, u get an A there.. !! Dont know about Chem though... depends on the threshhold and the examiner :mrgreen:

the grade threshold fr an a grade in chem prac is nrmly at 27/40...i might get 30 too..INSHALLAH....nd for p2..the threshold has never gone above 45....waisay...will the threshold for phy be really low this time or its just me wid the worst of luck????...nd thinking skills..man it was too tough this time...i mean the cases....itna toh benazir ke liye bhi nahin sochna para tha :S........nd r u sure that i can get an a in math with these marks??? math p1 main ECF ka scene hai??

in chem u should score abv 30 in p1 to made chances for A grade....................
n in maths u can score A grade bt also depends upon on the grade threshold of ths tyme................

n in physics if u score high in p2 then there wud be sum possible change(em not sure) bt if u not then no chance dude..................>>>

i guess that the thresholds for math s1 and phy p1 will drop considerably...nd also the practical ppr (phy ka) was a bit weird...(3rd june one)....so that means keh ive only done bad i those pprs..which are bound to av low thresholds...haina?

to be honest, it seems that u're getting B rite now in chem....u can turn it into A by getting high marks in P1
in maths, u are having A in P1, bt B in s1
in physics: currently a B, but can turn into A, by a high score in p2

U still have a good chance in Physics... U can score high in P2 and the threshhold is usually low for Phy p2 .. so if u do really well in P2 u have a fair enuff chance..

@mista lova...dun u thnk that s1 ka threshold will be loww...wayy low....nd chem ke liye 45 is quite high...well..there are all kinds of candidates...sum do good in organic while for others inorganic is their cup of tea.......so there shud be a fair enuff [email protected] i get arnd 50/60 in phy p2..InshAllah...toh theres a chance ryt??..nd math ky kya??? nd thinking skills too..

no idea abt thinking skills..
Chem was easy this year so the threshhold think is gonna be 48 because that is the highest i have seen.. U can cope up good if u do great in P1 inshallah !
50 is too good in physics because the threshholds go really low (i have seen 35 in one of the papers)
In maths... it all depends on how high the threshholds are set

well..thanks for the wonderful reply....btw..i might get mre the the foresaid marks...as in..ive been quite gratefull in cutting low on my marks...INSHALLAH ILL GET mre dn i thnk....now..if i get arnd 34-35 in p1..dn its all gud..ryto???....nd phy ka chance is gud na nd math ka bhi??? .....waisay every1 messed up their s1 paper...
