I want zee answer to this question:

So the question is:

DESCRIBE THE EVENTS THAT FOLLOW POLLINATION AND HOW THEY LEAD TO SEED FORMATION

The point are:

germinates;

(pollen) tube;

(grows down) style;

digestion / enzymes;

(enters) ovule;

ovary;

micropyle;

(male) nucleus / (pollen grain) nucleus / male

gamete;

fertilisation / fuse / join / eq;

ovum / egg / nucleus / female gamete;

ovule becomes seed;

ovule wall becomes seed coat / testa;

ovary becomes fruit;

allow if labelled on diagram

pls answer!!! it serves as practise & also and u'r helpin me & many others out there. thanks in advance!!

it be better if you answer them in bullet points: (btw this answer has more than six points-u can write them all or any six)
  • pollen grains germinate
  • pollen tube grows down the stigma and style(absorbs nutrients from the surrounding tissue as it grows)
  • pollen tube grows towards the ovule by chemotropism
  • pollen tube enters ovule via micropyle
  • male nucleus moves down the pollen tube
  • male gamete fuses with the female gamete in ovule and fertilization takes place
  • zygote is formed
  • endosperm is formed
  • zygote divides repeatedly to become embryo and ovule becomes seed
  • integuments become testa/seed coat
  • ovary becomes the fruit

hope this helps :) (y)
