Remember: Sin(2π/3) = Sin(π − π/3) = Sin(π/3) = √3/2
Area = (½) * a * b * SinC
Area = ½ * 6 * 6 * Sin(2π/3)
Area = 36/2 * √3/2
Area = (36√3)/4
Area = 9√3
So sin(pi/3) is root 3 by 2 and why did u write sin (2pi/3) as root 3 by 2?

Naah man, geometric sequences is simple. Trigonometric identity and equations i much more confusing
Hmm, I guess. Geometric sequences annoy me cuz they're so wordy. and then I mess them up. But trig's alright if you know the two main identities. It just takes a little while to figure out :)

the line 4x-3y-40=0 touches the circle (x-2)^2+(y-6)^2=100 at P(10,0).show that the radius P is perpendicular to the line.
anyone explain this,i seem to confuse here alot,and i hate this chapter :/

well the center is 2,6 (from the equation)
now find the gradients of radius p 6-0/2-10 = -6/8 or -3/4
now gradient of the line 4x-3y-40=0 arrange it so that y is the subjecct
3y=4x-40
y=4/3x-40/3
so gradient of this line is 4/3

4/3 * -3/4 = -1 so they are perpendicular

thx a lot, it really helped me but u forgot to say 0.5 because it is area of triangle !! really hope I get A this time and good luck
well first find the area of triange L N N'
so x cordinate of N - x cordinate of L *4 = area of the triangle
then u gotta deduct the area under the graph from M to N ( x cordinate)
so integerate the graph from M to N ( x- coordinate) and then deduct this value from the value of area of triangle :)
good luck
