When we through away waste , decomposers (bacteria) will decompose this waste so methane is made . so we should not throught allot of rubish .
as you methane causes air pollution . it so the greenhouse layer in the atmosphere get bigger and so traps more heat , leading to global warming .
Global warming :#
- causes flooding due to melting of ice begs
- cause change in climate
- leading to extintion

in the sewage there is a solid part that is called the sludge, the material contains lots of living and dead microorganisms...the sludge could be acted upon by anaerobic bacteria. this is put into large, closed tanks..where methane is produced which could be used as fuel. if there is left over materials these would be used as fertilizers
