BIG CONFUSION

GUYS help i am confused i have heard that if you repeat your exams in oct nov session then if you get a grade lower than previous one u will be given the your old grade again and i am alevels i want to know is this true and if it is then does it applies on components too like if i had an A IN m1 in may june and now in oct nov i get a B in m1 what will i be given a A or a B .this is component vise system or subject vise.ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

please some help me i am really in a pinch

dont know about components but i hav heard u can choose which session grades u can forward...

it is indeed very confusing...it might be carried forward if your statement of entry says carried forward...if not then not and never is a component grade carried forward...either the As Level or full A Level is taken into account

well my entry has this new column saying previous entry details dont know if its carried forward or something like that .
