AS Physics 33...Units?

For example in Q1 sometimes they ask you to measure the length of something, and the answer space its like:" ___ cm" or " ___ mm". cm or mm is not the standard unit used, m is, so later on when they ask us to take readings, do we take them in cm, mm, or in m?

Bcz students usually make mistakes in converting units and sometimes they forget etc... so thats what CIE is looking for in that area and thats what a test or an exam is.....(y)

because do you think that lets say u measure something to be 2mm is going to be feasible enough to right 0.002m?
