5 reasons why I won't watch
5. Advertising for the win!:
As the teams cost were costly for the investors, those who bought the franchises have took to advertising to overcome the revenue deficit. The team kits are full of advertisements of not just but at least 5 sponsors per team kit. The caps aren't even spared as sponsor's logos can be found printed even on them and the players seem to be walking billboards. The grounds are splashed with the colours of the sponsors and the overall atmosphere makes it like we are watching numerous advertisements linked together. Moreover, the adverts have no benefit for all are of Indian companies.

4. Lost its Glamour:
Much of media hype that revolved around the only extravagant cricket league has been put to bed by the evolution of similar tournaments including The Bangladesh premiere league and many others going to be held in the coming future. Therefore the uniqueness of the IPL does not exist now. Besides the help which Bollywood did in promoting the league has also ended. Proof- during the first 4 seasons of the IPL the bollywood did not release any major movies to encourage the people to watch the IPL but this time things have been different.

3. Match fixing:
After the abundant revelations- the subsequent arrest and trial of former IPl commisioner Lalit Modi regarding prevalent match fixing in the earlier seasons of the IPL, the game has become boring. There is always the suspicion that one match or the other has been rigged. It is bizarre to see things which have already been decided and especially knowing that many people already know the outcome of a certain delivery, innings or even the match.

2. No Pakistani Players
And most importantly- as usual none of our national heroes will be playing whom we can cheer for from the bottom of our heart.Although this step is not new but this time around there is even much resentment because the Bangladesh Premiere League fielded many Pakistani Players who were the star performers of the tournament. But the IPL despite witnessing this failed to fulfill the desire of its many followers inside Pakistan and still did not sign our players.

1. Wapda
And even if we neglect all these reasons and wish to watch the IPL there's always our beloved WAPDA which by its 'unannounced loadshedding' won't allow us to do so. Thank you WAPDA for caring for the earth so much by conserving electricity. =)

they've banned Pakistanis because of a bigger picture...which is the lack of safety (according to ICC and apparently the BCCI)
im sure the Sri Lankan cricket team will tell you all about it.
No offence intended...so pls do not take it the wrong way :D
