Q4) 'a' is amplitude = 9-3 = 6
'b' is the no. cycles in 2pi = 2
'c' is the y-intercept = 3

ii) we put the values from part i and get y=6sin(2x)+3
set this equal to 0
6sin(2x)+3=0
6sin(2x)=-3
2sin(2x)=-1
sin(2x)=-1/2
let 2x=y
siny=-1/2
y= pi+(pi/6) , 2pi-(pi/6) <== reject this one because we want to find the smallest value
y=7/6pi

2x = 7/6 pi
x=7/12 pi

Q9) i) y=6(3x-2)^-1
dy/dx= -1(6)(3)(3x-2)^-2
= -18/(3x-2)^-2

at x=2, dy/dx = -18/(3(2)-2)^-2 = -1.125

ii) y^2 = (6/(3x-2)^-1)^2
just integrate this and put the limits its easy

and
Why tan a > sin a when a is 90 degrees?
