Okay so I am stuck on this question! Need some help

Find the range of the function

f(x) = - |x - 2|
with domain -2 <== x <== 4
where <== means less than or equal to.

As f(x)=-|x-2|, you can plug-in the lowest value of the domain i.e -2 and find that f(-2) will be -4. This will be the lowest value of the range. Since -|x-2| will always be negative, the highest value the range can take is 0 when x=2. So the range is -4 to 0
