I'm aware about the thread Maths Doubts of A level but that includes all papers and its really difficult to distinguish between doubts and questions in different papers so I thought of creating a new thread especially for the A Level Mechanics Maniacs to help and for all the other students to get their attention on important/complicated questions asked by xtremepapers's growing community of students.

the horizontal force is the normal contact force b/w ring and wire

(coefficient of friction*normal contact force)+weight = (tension in BM*cos30) insert values and u will get the answer
